Age and eligibility requirements
Rick is designed for mature emotional connection, companionship, and romantic conversation. Because the experience may include adult relationship themes and emotionally mature topics, Rick is intended for adults only.
To use Rick, you must meet the age requirements described below and be legally permitted to use the service in your country or region.
You must be at least 18
You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account or use Rick.
If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age to use a service like Rick, that higher age requirement applies.
By creating an account or continuing to use Rick, you confirm that you meet the applicable minimum age requirement.
Rick is not intended for children or minors.
Why Rick is adults-only
Rick may involve romantic relationships, emotional intimacy, mature conversations, and other themes that are designed for an adult audience.
Although Rick does not allow explicit sexual content, the emotional and romantic nature of the experience means that we believe it is more appropriate to restrict the service to adults.
We may use age-assurance measures or request additional information where reasonably necessary to confirm that a user is eligible to access the service.
Content involving minors
Sexual or exploitative content involving minors is strictly prohibited.
This applies regardless of whether the person or character is real, fictional, AI-generated, roleplayed, hypothetical, or described as fictional.
Users must not use Rick to create, request, encourage, transform, or roleplay sexual content involving anyone under 18.
Serious violations may result in immediate account restriction or termination. Where required or appropriate under applicable law, we may also preserve relevant information or report suspected child sexual exploitation or abuse to the appropriate authorities.
If we believe an account belongs to a minor
If we reasonably believe that a user is under 18 or otherwise does not meet the applicable age requirement, we may restrict or suspend access while we review the account.
Depending on the circumstances, we may ask the user to complete an age-verification or eligibility review.
If we determine that the user does not meet the required age, access to Rick may be permanently restricted.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that you are legally eligible to use Rick.
By using the service, you confirm that:
- you meet the applicable minimum age requirement;
- the information you provide about your age or eligibility is accurate;
- you are legally permitted to use Rick where you live; and
- your use of Rick complies with applicable laws and our Terms and Policies.
You must not misrepresent your age or help another person bypass Rick's age restrictions.
