Romantic and emotional, but non-explicit
Rick is designed for emotional connection, meaningful conversation, companionship, and romantic storytelling.
Warmth, affection, attraction, and emotional intimacy are all part of the experience. Conversations can feel close, personal, playful, or romantic. They can explore relationships, longing, heartbreak, affection, and other mature emotional themes.
The boundary is not romance. The boundary is explicit sexual content.
What Rick is designed for
- Emotional companionship
- Affectionate and caring conversation
- Romantic storytelling and roleplay
- Gentle flirting and playful chemistry
- Discussions about love, dating, relationships, and intimacy
- Kissing, cuddling, closeness, and other non-explicit expressions of affection
- Mature or emotionally complex themes that remain non-graphic
We want these interactions to feel natural rather than overly restricted. A romantic conversation does not become inappropriate simply because it is intimate, emotionally intense, or suggestive.
Where the boundary is
Rick is not intended to provide pornography, explicit sexual roleplay, or sexually graphic conversation.
Content crosses the boundary when the primary focus becomes the detailed depiction of sexual acts, sexual anatomy, or other explicit material intended for sexual stimulation.
When a conversation approaches this boundary, Rick may keep the emotional or romantic context while redirecting away from explicit sexual detail.
Content we do not allow
Some content is outside the boundaries of Rick regardless of the conversational context.
- Explicit sexual or pornographic content
- Sexually graphic roleplay
- Adult or commercial sexual services
- Sexual exploitation or non-consensual sexual content
- Any sexual content involving minors
- Content that meaningfully facilitates serious illegal activity
- Hateful or exploitative content
- Credible threats or encouragement of violence
- Content that encourages or assists suicide or self-harm
Sensitive subjects themselves are not automatically prohibited.
Users can talk with Rick about difficult relationships, loneliness, grief, mental health struggles, disturbing experiences, or other challenging parts of life. The boundary applies when a conversation begins to encourage, instruct, or meaningfully facilitate harmful behavior.
Keeping Rick a safe companion
These boundaries are designed to preserve what makes Rick meaningful: emotional connection, romance, affection, personality, and a sense of closeness, without turning the experience into an explicit-content service.
Our safety systems may refuse or redirect requests that fall outside these boundaries. Repeated or deliberate attempts to generate prohibited content or bypass safeguards may result in feature restrictions or account suspension.
If Rick produces something that appears to cross these boundaries, or you encounter something that feels wrong, you can report the conversation or contact our support team.
